If you do not already know what watershed you are located in, go to http://cfpub.epa.gov/surf/locate/index.cfm, and follow the instructions.
The name of the watershed that comes up when you click on the river is the name of the file listed below.
Important Notes:
- This data is separated based on United State Geologic Survey Hydrologic Unit Codes ranging from 12 digits to 8 digits. In place of the 4 digit HUC name, Texas Stream Team has provided the major watersheds as designated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality since there is a discrepancy in the naming of the watersheds between the two organizations.
- The sub-watershed column is the 12 digit number. The tab name on the bottom of the spreadsheet is the 10 digit number. The file name is the 8 digit number.
- All data sets from the “Flow” column to the right are field observations and should be referenced to the Field Observations Key provided.
