Using the Data

Texas Stream Team water quality monitors produce data that are used for baseline data collection, local decisions, problem identification, education, research, assessment and for regulatory purposes in some cases. Texas Stream Team encourages all monitors and partners to graph, analyze, and use their data locally to create the strongest, positive local action from volunteers’ dedicated efforts. If you need detailed instructions about graphing and analyzing your data, please use these links to access Graphing Data in Excel and Interpreting the data. If you would like further clarification and assistance from Texas Stream Team staff, email Jason Pinchback at JP30@txstate.edu. Graphing and analysis assistance will be provided on a site-by-site basis. Trend analysis, large data sets, and more complex analysis requests will be responded to on a case-by-case basis, depending on staff resources.

Users can use the print button to print out data from the View Frame. Tabular data may be copied and pasted into spreadsheet programs such as Excel and printed from the external program.
